This course will focus on group interaction skills and the management of individual and professional priorities. Some of the areas covered will include behavioral style analysis, communication processes within groups, conflict management, goal setting, prioritizing, and time-management.

Introduction to Mentoring/Coaching PT 209

An overall overview introduction to paradigms for coaching and mentoring. The student will develop an awareness for the skillset necessary to customize performance driven coaching and evaluations and development driven mentoring with measurable evaluations.

Personal & Social Values GE 101

An introduction to the basic theories and principles of human behavior and psychological development, and the integration of psychology and the Christian faith. Some focus will be given to the psychological dimension of various addictions and behaviors and a practical approach to intervention techniques.

Foundations of Ministry GE 100

An overview of the foundational issues of ministry, including establishing a theology of ministry. Special attention will be given to the role of the minister, ministerial ethics, servanthood in ministry, and Jesus’ model of ministry. Emphasis will also be placed upon the sacraments and specialized ministries, such as weddings, baby dedications, water baptism and funerals.
